Peter G Duncan CEBS, CLU, ChFC - Partner
Peter is a seasoned health care executive whose expertise includes strategic employee benefit planning and implementation, provider network development, care management, health care data analysis and health improvement strategies for large employers. Peter has over 30 years of experience leading employee benefit sales and service operations for health care companies, including Blue Shield of California, Health Net of California and UnitedHealthcare. Peter is recognized as leader in the development of Health Care programs serving Latino employees and their families seeking health care services that serve their cultural needs in their community and across the border in Mexico. Peter was instrumental in the development and growth of Health Net’s Salud and Blue Shield’s Access Baja programs. Peter holds a Masters of Science Financial Services, American College, Pa., is a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) and Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), American College, Pa.

Chad Sidles - Partner
Chad is a highly successful and respected employee benefit consultant with over 25 years of employee benefit planning experience. Chad’s strengths include his expertise in benefit plan analysis and the development of creative plan design and financial solutions for large employers. Chad’s consulting expertise includes working with national insurance carriers bringing clients solutions in the design, implementation and administration of employee benefit plans. Chad is a member of National Association of Health Underwriters and the Orange County Employee Benefits Council. Chad holds a Bachelors of Science in Communications from Arizona State University.

Eric Barthel - Partner
Prior to joining Sidles Duncan & Associates, Eric was owner and Principal Consultant of Creative Benefit Concepts, where he managed healthcare programs for large self-funded and insured employers. Before starting his own firm, Eric managed employee benefit programs for mid-sized and larger employers with a regional brokerage firm as a Senior Benefits Consultant. Eric is an experienced health care executive and held the position of Vice President of Sales, Account Management and Marketing for United Healthcare. He managed a team of 70 employees and was responsible for customer and consultant relationships on key accounts with United Healthcare in Southern California. In this role, Eric participated in health plan negotiations, collective bargaining negotiations, provider contract negotiations and healthcare service agreements on behalf of his clients and the consultants representing them. Prior to United Healthcare, Eric spent 11 years at Aetna in a variety of positions in health care operations including: claims, member services, medical management, sales, account management, and marketing. His deep and thorough understanding of the healthcare delivery system allows him to advise clients to achieve receive optimal results from their healthcare vendors and plans.

Alicia Woempner - Account Executive
  Alicia is an experienced employee benefit Account Executive with over 15 years of employee benefit consulting and administration experience. Alicia is responsible for day to day oversight of our large group business segment with responsibility for all customer service and renewal management. Alicia’s experience includes 12 years with national insurance carriers as account manager responsible for client relationships and service. Alicia attended Whittier College and is fluent in Spanish.
